For this Amsterdam start-up, we helped build the YIP universe from the word “go”. Working with its founders, we began to provide a full creative consultancy and marketing strategy package for the company. YIP – an online skill-share marketplace for those who want to share their skills or passions, or learn new abilities and develop themselves – is heavily reliant on people signing up to the platform to learn, and ambassadors (instructors) to sign up and educate those learners.
We generated an identity for the brand, as well as logos, illustrations, messaging and brand guidelines. After this, we began an advertising campaign in order to raise awareness and worked up a series of bold and engaging OOH marketing ideas on billboards, trams and bikes.
This broadened out to incorporate a full content marketing and social media strategy and management, and various subsequent online campaigns to a social following and encourage signups. We continue to provide regular social campaigns and reassess the marketing strategies with its founder, as YIP grows from nascent startup to an established company and genuine competitor in the elearning landscape.
